2016 Science Fair

The 2016 Science Fair was held on May 13 and was very successful. Thank you so much to all of the volunteers from Santa Clara Unified Parents and our community, and congratulations again to the student participants and organizers, Jennifer Wilson Whitten and Jennifer Hoppe. 2015 Science Fair

The 2015 Science Fair was held on May 13 and was very successful. We had 315 students and 272 projects this year from 17 different schools in the district.  Behind the scenes, we had over 70 parent volunteers helping, plus 54 judges from the community. 2014 Science Fair

2013 Science Fair

The 2013 Science Fair was held on May 15 and was a great success. We had 316 students participate in the fair. 83 received blue ribbons, 149 received red and 74 received white. There were 40 judges from the community and 78 shifts were filled by parent volunteers. Thank you to all our volunteers and the following event sponsors:

SCUP raised $685 from check and cash donations at the fair! That is over 10% of what is needed to run the fair, so we have a head start for next year. We sold out of the collectible science fair buttons.

2012 Science Fair

The 2012 SCUSD District Science Fair, produced by SCUP, was a huge success! The 300 students were excited to discuss their projects with the 50 scientists and community members who volunteered to judge the projects. Another 50 volunteers helped to support the operation. The day concluded with students getting to show off their projects to the community and getting awarded certificates and ribbons.
